YOU MUST BE CAREFUL! Many Raw diets are unbalanced. just because you are feeding your pet raw doesnt mean its the healthiest choice for your pet. Many homemade raw diets and even some commercial ones are unbalanced. This can easily be avoided, also please dont be stubborn, if you have been feeding a raw diet for x amount of years and your dogs are doing fine check the diet to be sure. You clearly feeding raw cus you want a healthier pet, so do the right thing. Get the right balance! what your pet needs to avoid an unhealthy diet Vitamin A is formed from yellow carotene and is found in such foods as egg yolk, fish roe, liver and kidney, this vitamin is necessary for the growth and general well being of young animals in particular, in excess it could affect growth and bone development. Low vitamin A may lead to reduced bone mass. liver and egg yolk contain at least 0.15mgs of retinoids per 1.75 - 70z (50-198g) beef liver is the best hormone free is suggested.
