Hideaways Pizza Pub in Princeville.... Just visited and I make this statement.... Hideaways Pizza Pub is 5 star Hanalei Pizza approved! To begin with, every member of the team was impeccable. The place was very clean, total refresher from the last adventure. ( I had my wedding rehearsel dinner there with my first wife in the 80s) Next... the host/owner was greeting every table and on it like a chef at a fine French restaurant. Then...the menu... very well thought out and I will have to work my way through it, but the salads were excellent... A+ ( I was not drinking so no slobbery compliments here) Go for the Kale Salad! I let the server pick out both my salad and Pizza! Here is the kicker... they have gluten free pizza and it is damn good. As good or better ( hard to say.... cough cough) then my best gluten free pizza at Hanalei Pizza. Crust and toppings were PERFECT! My friends got the supreme... I would only say ONE thing... ask for the pizza to be cooked a little crispier.. but it was still an A. Very impressed and oh so stoked for the owner who has put his heart and soul into the project...and it shows. Finally, we did not drink, but the Bar looked great. I know the bartender thatw as working and he can sling the killer drinks. If you want to get good pizza on the North Shore.... I HIGHLY RECOMEND Hideaways Pizza Pub... HANALEI PIZZA APPROVED 5 STAR. ( ps... really clean..I know I said that but I love a clean restaurant... )and again... wonderful and very attentive staff. STOKED!!!!
