YOU WILL REAP WHAT YOU SOW. If we sow the seeds of kindness, we shall reap them. Galatians 6:7-10 Don’t be misled—you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what you plant. Those who live only to satisfy their own sinful nature will harvest decay and death from that sinful nature. But those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith. Your actions all have consequences. Dont ever be fooled into thinking that your actions dont have consequences. Dont think you can get away with bad choices even if you dont seem to get caught. Remember verse seven tells us that God cannot be mocked. He sees it all. You reap what you sow. Watch the way you live your life because you reap what you sow. Every day, whether we are thinking about it or not, we are sowing seeds. When we interact with coworkers, we are sowing seeds of kindness, compassion, empathy, pride, accomplishment, and innumerable other things. Without even being aware of it we might be sowing the seeds of doubt, of greed, of complaining, of deception or of anger. We can sow a seed by a gesture, a look, a smile or a nod. People react to the seeds that we sow during our lives and, invariably, we shall reap what we sow. If we sow the seeds of pride and arrogance, those we shall reap also – and the fruit may be bitter. If we spend our lives being miserable to ourselves and to others, we surely shall be miserable. If, on the other hand, we spend our lives helping others and interacting in a positive way with others, our lives will be fruitful and sweet. If we sow the seeds of love, so shall we reap love. And if we sow the seeds of faithlessness and doubt, we shall have nothing to reap of any real value.
