YOU ( whoever you are) may not always understand why that still small voice is speaking to you? Be obedient anyway ;-)))) I remember when I left for Myrtle Beach in 2011 and you ( Shirley Hall-Fleeman) sent me this song... Im watching Leeann sing it on my recorded memorial for Maya Angelou that Im taking the time to watch this morning... I have listened to this song NUMEROUS times and there have been occasions in weariness or brokenness i didnt dance... And there where times I have allowed my sadness or fear to look at the waves and not notice how grand the ocean is BUUUUUT when it comes to selling out Ive reconsidered and Ive continued to give faith a fighting chance!!! The words have at times tried to condemn me but MY truth is they were actually a floatation device when the waters became restless and a tree with deep roots when the winds of change tried to blow me down and I am so grateful that I had the empowerment that song was written for, to encourage & strengthen me and the rope of hope & friendship you threw before I ever knew I would need it. THANK YOU for years of words we have shared be it through laughter or tears, remixed, revived, repurposed, fresh or raw... From a song, a movie, a book, a message, a sign or our heart. I cannot fathom the amount of words we have in our database but love how God uses words to create and I cherish our dictionary /encyclopedia and look forward to how God will help us put it all together ;-)
