YOUNG WRITERS COMPETITION – 4 SUCCESSFUL JCC STUDENTS! Recently JCC entered Young Writers’ A Twist In The Tale mini Saga competition and four of our pupils were successful and will now be published within a special Anthology. The Young Writers competition has proved popular with schools and pupils alike and thousands of stories were entered. Work was selected to be included in the anthology based on: imagination, perception, expression and creative use of language. The special Anthology which the pupils work will appear in, A Twist In The Tale – Tales From The West Midlands will be sent to the British Library and further libraries across the UK and Republic of Ireland providing a lasting record of their achievement. The four successful students from JCC and the titles of their stories are listed below: Zara Shabir – Twisted Tale Madiya Kauser – The Dark Prince Miara Khan – Tomy Syeda Nishat – Alternate Ending To Romeo And Juliet There will be further prizes awarded soon for best school/ college across the series.
