YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!! I am on the ballot, now the work starts. I know all of you want positive change in Spring ISD. That is why you are looking at this Facebook page. Change is not going to happen without hard work. I need people that can man the early voting and election day sites to hand out flyers and make phone calls to friends, family and neighbors to make sure they get out and vote. The early voting sites are especially important, because in the past voting cycles, up to 65% of the votes were cast at this time. If you can contribute only a few hours, it will be a big help. Many voters that dont have kids in school, dont bother to go to the bottom of the ballet to vote on the school board issues. When you explain that the quality of our school district directly affects the quality of life in our neighborhoods (and how their tax dollars are spent) they will usually listen. You dont need to live in the Spring ISD area to help, only to vote. My goal is a Board that is in touch with and accessible to our community and takes action when needed. Not one that will sit on their hands and trust someone else will take care of things. I cant win this election without your help. Now here comes the begging, I am also accepting monetary donations. Paper and ink for flyers and yard signs can get expensive, but individually reams of paper, a cartridge of ink and a sign or two are not too costly. I know budgets are tight and I promise be a good steward with your donations and stretch them as far as I can. Please consider donating, not only some of your time to handing out flyers at the polling sites, but reams of paper or cash donations for ink and signs.
