Ya know, I gave birth to Gaige at 16 years old. Hes never met his father who is serving two life sentences in prison. Im a poor single mom of five kids, living in public housing. All odds are stacked against him yet still he shines brighter everyday. He is a straight A honor student at Alleghany High School and currently away at Governors school where he is studying medical health sciences and despite all his accomplishments he remains the most humble person Ive ever encountered. I love this kid more than the air I breathe. This community needs to lift up kids like this. When the universe told him No you cant he stood up and shouted YES I CAN!
