Ya know....sometimes I just cant help but let my mouth and my opinion burst at the seams, and this is one of those times ;) I keep seeing gyms all over the country bashing other gyms on social media. That is by far one of the most income killing practices you can adopt. Why? Because a potential member will see you blasting another gym for whatever reason (prices, contracts, no contracts, trainers employed there, hours open, staffed vs non-staffed, color of their doors, type of TP they use, or whatever other reason you can come up with) but what the potential member hears is: if this gym would ridicule a competitor openly for X,Y,Z then what do they say about me when I am there with X amount of weight to lose, not cute workout gear, can barely walk on the treadmill, cant keep up in group fitness, struggling to figure out the equipment, etc. Seriously?!? Gym Owners- be smart. Social media can spread like a wildfire of positivity or a negative infectious virus. Dont like the way another gym operates? Its simple, dont work there ;) #DropsMic
