Yaaa some good news for a change. Yesterday we were infomed about a senior tabby female puss that was taken to Bourne vets in a poor condition over the weekend. She may of had hyper thyroidism as she was so skinny. Sadly, no ID was found and was thought to be lost for a long time. The students that found her put up posters in the Canterbury, Northgate area and i am pleased to inform all the overjoyed owner has now been found. We all hope that puss makes a good recovery in her old home. But can we all please plead once again about the virtues of microchipping... We are currently dealing with another older stray lass who was in a real bad way that also has hyper t . Again no chip was found no one to look after her. We have named her Elsie and she is being operated on tomorrow to remove the thyroid gland that is giving her so much trouble... fingers crossed for a speedy recovery for this stately lass who is a LH tabby.
