Yall!! Smh, Im sorry. Ill just be another one of the thousands expressing their opinion on this issue. But here it goes. Preacher, you are not the deliverer. When you invite the presence of God into any situation, its up to Him to change and transform the willing hearts. You making my God out to be a Big Angry Monster is totally absurd. I dont care who we are. We have the greatest responsibility of telling His truth every time we step on the stage (pulpit). That goes for worship leaders, music directors, preachers, singers, and so on. You couldnt trust God to speak through you, so you digressed to a Button Pushing sermon! A Scare tactic speech. And when you get too may Oooos and Whooaas from a sermon, too much of you is talking. And half the congregation was lifting their hands and standing, agreeing with you? Which could possibly mean that half has been lost and confused for 107 years. Im C.O.G.I.C. to the bone! Born and raised in it! Ill love it and claim it until the day I die. But right now, Im just bothered. Because we can be so much better than this! You dont have to agree with me. Its cool. But if we are to mirror Jesus, following in His footsteps......., Im sorry. You didnt sound like Him.
