Yamaha unveils three-wheeled scooter Tricity Yamaha unveiled a new three-wheeler mobility solution for today’s traffic snarled roads. The scooter named Tricity will be launched in the summer of 2014 in European markets and will be priced at 4000 euros (Rs 3,34,278). The Yamaha Tricity has compact dimensions that match those of other 125cc scooters in its class and weighs in at just 152kgs with a full tank of fuel. The front wheels dont look out of place and smoothly integrate in to the bodywork. Tricity uses a single 125cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine mated to a continuously variable transmission driving the single rear wheel. The power output stands at 11 PS with about equivalent amount of torque.
