Yashmak by Danzig (USA) — Slightly Dangerous (USA) Its early spring 1981, I am looking at an Unraced 2 year old at Barry Hills South Bank Stable-Slightly Dangerous, little did I know what a Great Broodmare she would be. 1996, Yashmak makes her Debut for Sir Henry and Wins by 1 1/2L, Next outing she finishes 2nd, but the Winner goes on to Bolt up in a GR 3 next time out, Yashmak has a rest, then runs Longchamps Prix Marcel Boussac (Group 1) btn Head. 1997, is she a Miler or a Stayer?, Well she runs in the 1000 Guineas, Btn 22L by Sleepytime!, Stepped up to 10F next race, she Bolts up, Now for the Epsom Oaks 12F, Runs well Btn 2 3/4L by Reams of Verse!, Now Royal Ascot 12F Ribblesdale Stakes (Class A) she Bolts up by 9L. Next race Kildangan Stud Irish Oaks 12F, she runs well but finishes 2nd, time for a rest. Her Final race in America Flower Bowl Invitational Handicap (Fillies & Mares) 10F, she Wins Gamely and gives Sir Henry his First Big American Win. Yashmak went on to breed 5 Winning offspring, she was also a Half-Sister to some Good horses such as - Commander in Chief, Warning, Dushyantor, Deploy.
