Yay! Andrew Jewell and I are pleased to announce the publication of the 2014 Scholarly Editing, featuring awesome editions of really neat and hitherto neglected materials, including writings on Malcolm X by Alex Haley (edited by Amy Earhart), fiction by Virginia Woolf, a 16th-century Spanish colonial document, and something that ought to be of interest to anyone involved with 19th-c American literature, the journal of Christopher Cranch, the transcendentalist who caricatured Emersons transparent eyeball. These are all fantastic studies of literary and historical materials that had no clear route to peer-reviewed publication before the Association for Documentary Editing allowed us to make over their journal a few years ago. ALSO we have essays, including a fabulous one by Elena Pierazzo, and book reviews! If you are interested in the intellectual work of digital editing and would like to submit a proposal for an edition, we would like to hear from you. Details for submitting articles and edition proposals are on the site. scholarlyediting.org/
