Yay! Its that time again mid week mayhem... where we are neither here nor there.! But we know where we are going to be this time next week, down The Library to return our books and renew our library cards as school will be out for the summer... There will be tears and laughter for the next few days as changes takes place, goodbye and Thank yous, end of year plays and parties, nevertheless and another academic year comes to an end. For me it has been an exciting year from working part time to working full time at the school - almost 12 years service.My future in September was not clear as the staff I was covering was due back from almost 8 months away. Would I have to go back part time? I was ready to leave but could not find a job. I was planning plan B and had started working part time doing Exam Invigilating, getting my Child Minding Portfolio ready anything that would give me a decent wage- Interviews after interview but no luck Then Last week I was offered a new job within my present role - full time Office Administrator with additional responsibilities In charge of Procurement , Stock Control and Inventory - 5 days a week with additional extended hours! I am delighted that I have a job where I love being, So If I am not at my desk or at the window greeting clients with a smile on my face I will be in the stock cupboard checking and ticking! And on that note... I walked into the stock cupboard yesterday and a Chinese man jumped out on me and shouted SUPPLIES! Happy Hump day! Safirah
