Yeah! Just Skyped my girls in Taiwan. All good over there. Kinda missing their home freedoms and the independence of doing what you like, when you like, in your own home.....with wireless access in every room! Mind you they are enjoying the food and Lori let me know that shes had stinky-tofu! I miss you chou-tofu!! Back here in the UK its a riot of green leaves and blossoms, and after being told by a friend, whos now an expat in Houston, how he does not want to come home, and just how much he loves Houston life over the UK because; ..theres so much to do and everything is so readily available.. (quantity of life). .....but I just dont buy into his new found enthusiasm for hyper-consumption. Coming back to the UK I realise how much I love the subversive disorganisation of all life here; nothing cooperates willingly and theres a rogue disobedience in everything; from the people, the weather, and nature itself. The world doesnt conspire against you, it just doesnt readily cooperate with you....you have to work at it; make it happen, earn it. Which makes even something as simple as a day out on a wet beach somewhat an achievement... and therefore more memorable for the effort of all who took part. Life is more significant, far more memorable and real, when its achieved through effort instead of laid on by yet another boxed corporate-franchise experience. Keep it real people....
