Yeah. So this happened today. Lets just agree that it wasnt very pretty nor graceful, but I survived it. You will note that it looks better tonight. Let it be a lesson to ya...and me too...dont attempt to walk down a curb where the concrete below your feet isnt so level while also waving at your neighbor at 5:40 a.m. as youre walking to your car with your arms loaded down. Dont know who I freaked out more-- the neighbor who is wheelchair bound or JM. with blood running down my face, JM insisted we ought to go back in the apartment to clean up...and I, with hand under chin to keep blood from getting on my stack of student papers and my white shirt, said, NO! No way! I have to get to school early. He looked and me and said, Mom, youre such a hardcore teacher!....and it was off to school and my classroom where I cleaned it up, and took out a pebble embedded in my chin. Thats right-- I am a hardcore teacher. buahahahaa. I told JM, Well, let it be a lesson to you when you are over there teaching in Japan. Imagine the greetings I recceived today. lol Oh the hilarity never ends in the life of Michelle Marie Leurquin Channon.
