Yeah....its my favorite time of year. Seriously thats sarcasm. People are already starting to lose their minds. Today a customer tried to threaten me and threw a tantrum outside the door because he was two minutes late getting to the building before I close. Yes thats right, once the time rolls from :59 to :00 youre shit out of luck. My life does not revolve around your mismanagement of time and the behavior I witnessed today will not be rewarded. I know a lot of people just love thanksgiving and chrismas but really it just gives license to be an inconsiderate asshole who believes theyre entitled to treat those that are serving or helping them like shit. Sometimes I think holidays encourage selfishness and narcissism. You know, that dick move where you shop at the very last minute to encourage gluttony by racing around with your stupid shopping cart full of chemical laden foods while at the same exact time theres a homeless individual whos hoping for a free meal at the local church. The fact your actions (or lack of action in this case) cause the necessity of someone having to be there to ensure you stuff yourself silly while their family goes without their company until their wage masters allow them to leave. To scream at your server, fast food worker, or retail associate over the price of a good or to throw a food related tantrum over something so minor as the lack of sugar laden catsup to slather over your grease soaked french fries. To feel like Im trapped at gitmo undergoing torture over the repetitive christmas music or watch young to older children beg their parents for an item they were manipulated into believing they absolutely had to have by the idiot box. Seriously....Ive indeed become jaded :/
