Yeah, there have been times that I was not so proud of being an Indian. I saw the movies, the soaps, the government, the corruption, the people, the honour killings, the rapes, the racism, the communism, the riots and somewhere deep down it consumed me in the core. You have nothing to be proud about this country aside from the cultural diversity or the endowmnents bestowed by nature. But then I thought, a mother never stops loving her child even if the child is a useless dung sack (not relevatory), so sometimes we love things just because they NEED to be loved!! Just because we are a part of it, and somewhere deep down it beats inside us and we embrace its warmth. I know theres one guy out here in his vest staring at his laptop sceen with a thousand altercations to spew at my face right now, and then Id spit a cloudburst of counter coherents and anything Id have to say wouldve already crossed his mind, so Id just plead him to have my back on this one. I love you India. I always had and will be. Im not sure Id feel the same way about the people though.
