Year: 1991 Model: GL 1.4 twin carb Tax: 10 months / June 2015 MOT : 5 months / January 2015 Mileage: 108k (still being driven daily so may rise) Facts: 22 years old, 1991 Honda Civic GL, manual 1400cc 16 valve twin carburettor. Cappuccino brown, 5 door sedan/saloon. 108k miles. MOT 5 months TAX 10 months. Around 7,000 a year. 3 years owned. Full electric windows and electric sunroof. Power steering. Kenwood cd and auxiliary input stereo with rear vibe slick 6.5 coaxial speakers and front factory speakers. Electric wing mirrors and central locking. Original interior and no damage to seating. Has had no smokers, no pets and no children. Servicing: Will be given a full detail and interior clean. Including brand new floor mats. Of which is done on a regular basis. Has had recent and regular oil changes and flushing. Will be also renewing spark plugs and wind screen wipers near the point of sale. Full documentation kept including orginal handbook and 3 keys, all original. Modifications include; 16 inch Cades Eros (215 50 16) alloy wheels, 1 year old from new! RRP £665 4-2-1 stainless steel megan racing into Powerflow exhaust system. Powerflow Silencer included. Mot safe. No catalytic converter from factory. Front suspension is GAZ coilover with damping adjustment Rear suspension is pi shocks with D2 progressive springs - around 40mm lower than stock Why the mix? Full coilovers proved to harsh for current road conditions, the progressive D2 springs at the rear give comfort at low speed and response when cornering. Handles very well for its age, thanks to it fully independent all round and double wishbone suspension up front. Negative points Rust has advanced near the rear passenger jacking point, caused by a poor repair by previous garage. Clear on this years MOT, never the less needs replacing lower jacking points and rear arch have been affected also. Hair line fracture in mid section of exhaust ( I thank the island roads for that). £10 worth of welding Ride comfort has been traded for cornering control and appearance. All factory springs are still available for fitment and included in the sale. Small parking dents on drivers and passenger door, No paint removed though. The car is quickly becoming a classic and will only increase in value if maintained and made a fine example of 4th generation civics. More pictures will be added this week for more detail. Looking for £1000 ono
