Years ago Once Upon a Time, when I first got engaged my mother gave me her engagement and wedding rings because my previous husband and I couldnt afford to buy any at that time. It was the rings from when she was married to my Biological father. A Silver set with diamonds in the one and the other was a silver plain ring. Anyhow, I had lost them many years ago. I thought I had lost them while during our month of cleaning the Assembly of God Church. I wasnt sure but that is the last time I noticed them on my finger. Goodness..that was almost 25+ years ago. Well tonight I was out in the shed out back of my house trying to clean it so I could take things out of the back room of my little house that didnt need to be taking up needed space for other things more important like canned food etc. After being away for 3 years the little Red Squirrels had fun building two nice cozy soft houses in there and had a LOT of spruce cone shells in there.. so much that I have to shovel it into a bag to clean the floor. I was picking up some hardware like nails and screws and anything obvious to my eye and had a floor magnet I was swinging back and forth to find the hardware and then I take the metal off the magnet onto the shelf to get it out of the way and so I can save the stuff to use in the future. I put that magnet down and I walked over to move something and I reached down to pick up a letter opener and while I was bending over doing that I saw this little bit of metal sticking up out of the debris and I thought it was just a little key ring thingy... so I picked it up and it was THE RING!!! I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw it. It was the main wedding ring . I havent found the mate to it (engagement) I was just a minute away from picking up the shovel to shovel up the debris to dump into the garbage bag!! Wow!!! amazing!! I still cant believe it. Its almost like the stories you hear about finding someones ring from 50 years ago in a fishs mouth or in a lake or something.. haha... I believe God wanted me to find it for a reason.. not sure yet why..but to me this isnt just a coincidence! :) I was just sharing with a friend the other day about how I lost these rings and never knew what happened to them. Pictures included and also showing the debris in the shed from 3 years of being gone from the squirrels. :) this is where I found the ring...
