Years ago days like Christmas and Thanksgiving were about honoring and giving thanks and praise to the Lord for all He has done for us. It seems that materialism, and covetous desires have slipped in and taken God almost out of the equation. Black Friday has now inched its way into the Thursday that was set aside to honor and give thanks to God. Commercialism and self gratification has almost replace Jesus and taken the Christ out of Christmas. Well I will not wish you happy holidays like many store employees are told to do. I will tell you and wish you a warm and happy Thanksgiving as it is a day set apart to thank the Lord and I will be politically incorrect and wish you a wonderful and blessed Christmas. Remember what these days represent and think about how God had blessed you and this country since its inception.
