Years ago, when I first started seeing breakthrough in healing I was working as a door greeter at Walmart. I was getting words of knowledge over customers walking through the door and praying for them. Many people were getting healed each day, and then I tried to gauge my faith. I tried to find the formula to it, and I started thinking, Ok, how much faith do I need to see this healed. Suddenly the breakthrough stopped and though I was praying for people I wasn’t seeing them healed. I figured, may be God just used me for that short time and took it away. A month goes by with no breakthrough and I was in Salvation Army with my wife. A lady walks by dragging one of her legs, her eyes had grey circles around them and she looked like she was strung out on something. I kind of judged her in my heart. When we left, she was sitting on the curb right beside out car. My first thought was “oh great, we’re going to get robbed.” As soon as I opened the car door, the Lord spoke to me and said, “give her a bible” I felt instantly convicted because I was judging her in my heart. I gave her a bible and she broke down crying and started telling me all the things she was going through. She was touched someone would even talk to her. She was hit by a tow truck and her back was misaligned causing her to walk like that. I was so moved with compassion for her, I had to pray. I commanded healing in her back and honestly, that was a moment I had no faith she was going to get healed. I just was so moved for her I had to. When I prayed, she gets up and starts walking normal, screaming what did you do to me! She was freaking out and her back was completely healed. She could walk normal. I was just as shocked as she was. Later that night, the Lord started reminding me about love. He led me to Galatians 5: 6 “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.” Faith operates through love. Love is the gateway that faith manifests through. When we truly love the person in front of us, whether we see the breakthrough or not, we can’t fail. This Gospel is about God demonstrating His love for mankind and the physical manifestations of that love follows it.
