Years of alleged embezzlement at the Tippecanoe Valley Schools came to light after a purse theft in a Wal-Mart parking lot. When police recovered the stolen purse, they uncovered evidence that the owner had been stealing from her employer. The total price tag has now been placed at $275,000. The T.V. former treasurer Sherri Adamson committed suicide hours after she was first confronted by police in January of 2013.
