Yee-hah! Thank you to everyone who came to the barn dance on Friday: we think youll all agree that it was a fantastic evening of Dosey Doe-ing and four-hand stars! A special word of thanks goes to Pete Skiffins for putting us through our paces as our wonderful Caller. The good news is we are planning to put on another one next year (but probably in the winter, because we got rather hot)! Our next event is the Naughty but Nice pamper / indulgence evening: come along to Bentley House on Saturday 13 September at 7pm to take advantage of treatments including massage, reflexology, manicure - and nail art - plus wet shaves for the men, all at £5, a fraction of the usual price. There will also be stalls selling beauty products and, amongst other items, handbags, and we hope that some of you may bring in your nearly-new or new clothes, jewellery, bags, etc., to take part in a swap-shop. Tickets are £5 each and include a glass of wine or soft drink, nibbles and a raffle ticket: all monies from raffle ticket sales will be donated to CLIC Sargent for children with cancer.
