// Yena and I did an Role Play of how Lux died, and thought I might do this. . A month after recruitment, the Survey Corps were now sitting on their horses in front of the east gate, to journey out into Titan-infested Wall Maria. Horses were shuffling around nervously, but not as nervous as their owners on top of them. Some were prepared, most werent. They didnt want to die. They didnt want to face the Titans, especially the new recruits. They were mostly separated in different groups on the outer lines of the formation, positions that were more likely to encounter the horrid beasts. They didnt like this at all, and where the hell was Eren? Lux sighed nervously, but she hid her nervousness as well as possible. Her hands were shaking as she looked straight forward, but she had the calmest look possible on her face. A monotone look, a slight frown, her usual wide eyes, full of what felt like. . excitement, yet, utter fear. She gulped as she looked around at the other new recruits, just like her. She shuddered, as if a cold wind had drifted past her, all though one didnt, imagining how many of these poor souls are going to be dead by the end of this, she could possibly die, also. No. No, she promised Eren she wouldnt die. She suddenly looking up from one of the other recruits she rarely talked or even knew as she noticed Eren was no where in sight. Her eyes seemed to widen a bit as she got worried, but she knew nothing couldve happened to him, so she looked at her shaking hands with her calm look, trying her best to steady the shake of her hands. Yena involuntarily looked around, checking for everyone who knows. She was in the same group as Sasha, she noted, and continued to scan around. To the right she spotted Connies shaved head and a sweating Bertholdt stood out next to him. Up ahead she noticed a ball of blond hair, Armin, and close by was the familiar tuff of copper-blond. Nearby, she found Reiners bulky form, and she saw just a glance of a monotone Ymir. She sighed; at least she knew where her friends where, somewhat. She looked around nearby her, and saw the familiar brunette staing down at her hands. Though she put up a façade of calm, Yena was able to see the nervousness bubbling inside. She understood why; none of them were ready for this. They were all too young. Yena took a breath, tightening her grip on her horses reigns. Lux closed her eyes as her hands shaking had calmed down. She would make it through this. For everyone. She looked up again as she opened her eyes, her frown apparent on her face still, but her wide eyes werent as wide as before. She loosely held her horses reigns, her hands slightly bruised from her training, she didnt want to give herself pain just yet. She waited impatiently before she felt as if someone was staring at her as she looked down at her hands again. They had started to shake, again. She looked up and slightly beside her, but still had to look back. There she saw Yena looking at with a, what looked like, a worried look? She couldnt tell, never was good at this stuff. She must be scared too, everybody was. She looked forward again, sighing. Yena sighed as well, looking forward again. The gate was starting to open, and her anxiousness grew. She quickly scanned the area for her friends again for safe measure, ans before she knew it, they were heading off. When Lux noticed the gate opening, she could of swore she felt warm droplets of water on her face, but disregarded it completely as everyone had set off, her with them. Slowly the anxiety grew in them as they approached the gate, but once they past it, some were overcome with the beauty of the abandoned land of Wall Maria. Most had never really been here, mostly being from bigger cities rather than villages. Likewise, Yena had never stepped foot into Wall Maria, staying only in her familiar neighborhood in Trost. She looked around at the vast grassy hills that seemed to stretch forever, taking in the beautiful sight. Lux kept staring down at her hands, too anxious right Now to even look up. She kept feeling the warm droplets roll down her face before realizing she was crying. . from fear. The time had come for the formation to split up. Along with Sasha, a squad leader and a few other cadets, Yena and Lux broke off and followed along with their squad. Yenas anxiety came back full force, and her heart was beating rapidly with fear. Lux sighed anxiously as the squads had broken up, her heart beating almost as fast as Yenas. Eventually they had encountered their first Titan, but- It was an abnormal. It chased after Sasha and what could have been them next, but the squad leader had taken it out just in time. When Lux had saw the Titan chasing Sasha, her heart started to beat rapidly, but she looked as calm as ever. She sighed in relief as the titan was taken down. They kept going for a bit, nothing else happened besides the flares of other groups encountering Titans or the signal to move. Eventually they ended up inside an abandoned village. As they arrived in the village Lux looked around, frowning lightly, which was actually normal for her. It was definitely abandoned. . which kind of freaked her out a bit, making her shudder and looked forward again so she could pay attention properly. Yena looked around, keeping track for movement. It was relatively quiet besides the sounds of the horses hooves against the ground. The rest of the squad was up ahead a few meters, while her, Lux, and two other cadets lingered behind. Suddenly, a Titan came from inside one of the buildings. Abnormal! one of the other cadets yelled. Luxs eyes widened as she heard another cadet yell out that big word. Maybe she could show off now at how good she was? Or maybe she should wait. . maybe another one of the cadets or someone else will get it. She looked back at the titan, a calm, yet terrified look on her face. Look out!! Yena yelled at the others around her, steering her horse sharply to the side to avoid the giant. It kept chase after them, and she clicked her tongue in frustration. Lux kept looking At the titan before she got fed up. She didnt care if she was going to die, she flung herself off her horse and off to the side, pretending the horse had knocked her off by accident, when her back made contact with the ground she lost her breathe and stared up at the sky, hearing the loud stomps of the titan running. Yena noticed Lux being thrown off her horse before turning hers around. Get up!! Hurry!! She rushed over to her, trying to get to Lux before the Titan did. Luxs eyes were wide as she sat up and looked behind her at the figure running towards her. Was that Yena. .? Her eyes widened even more if possible as she felt the ground shake from a titan. She got up and looked forward. There was a titan running towards her. Shit. She ran towards the titan also, before grappling the hook from her maneuver gear onto the titan, making her fly up and around the titan. Only for the titans hand to fly up and hit her like a fly. It was painful as she was smacked down to the ground at full force, making her gasp and bleed horribly. Lux!! Yena gritted her teeth and stood on her horse before using her gear and shooting off towards the Titan. Her hook had attached itself to its shoulder and she sped out to the brunette. The Titan had torn her hook out and threw her aside, and Yena hit her back against a building, knocking the wind out of her. Luxs eyes opened slightly as she looked to the side and saw Yena get thrown also. She gritted her teeth as she attempted to get up. She wasnt failing now. She got up, the pain almost unbearable, but not stopping her. She ran toward the titan as she attempted to work her gear. She stopped abruptly and looked down At her gear, it broke. . shit. . . she muttered. She looked up at the titan, it staring straight down at her. She looked at Yena now, before she began to run towards Yena when the titan reached out towards her. Yena! She yelled as loud as she could, gripping her bleeding stomach as she ran as fast as she could. Yenas eyes shot open, and she looked up. The sight of Lux bleeding profusely from her stomach and running towards her made a chill run down her spine. She got up as fast as she could, stumbling a bit, before running towards Lux. The Titans hand was making its way down to them, and she only ran faster. Lux, get out of here!! Now!! I can take it out! She got her blades out again, ready to shoot herself towards the beast, but it was too late, it was too close for comfort now. The titans hand had now separated Lux and Yena from seeing each other as it swung forward and hit Lux roughly, grabbing her in a bone crushing grip. She let out screams of pain as soon as she was grabbed, hoping Yena could at least save her. She was paralyzed with fear for a moment, watching as Lux was being lifted up. She couldnt pull the trigger, she couldnt budge an inch. Luxs screams of pain snapped her back to reality before she shot off towards the Titan, near its nape. In a rush, she tried to cut its nape, but the cut was too shallow. She tried to turn back around, but turned too far, and rolled along the roofs of the buildings before hitting a chimney. Lux stopped screaming as she felt numb. No more pain. She looked down into the titans mouth as it lifted her up above it. She closed her eyes and let it drop her into its mouth, the fall making her lose her breath again, for sure this time. Yena watched in horror. Subconsciously, she lifted her hand towards the brunette, and as her screams stopped and she started to fall, Yena screamed at the top of her lungs. LUX!!! The Titans mouth closed in around her, and the blood seeped through its teeth, spraying about it. Yenas eyes were wide with fear, her hand still outstretched. She had failed. She had failed to save her. Lux smiled lightly as she felt the titan bite into her. At least this all over with. The last thing she saw was her friend reaching out to her, and blood going every where, before getting eaten by the giant beast. --End-- // I am in literally tears right now.
