Yes History repeats itself as they say, yet they are not ready to take sincere advice of the people of knowledge, understanding and wisdom Al Muhaddith Shaikh Naseeruddin Albani rahimaullah said in al sisilah al saheeah (volume 7, section 2 ) "...History repeats itself as they say, because today some of the muslim youth begun to germinate and sprout, not having the understanding of religion except a little. They consider that government do not rule by what Allah has revealed except seldom. So they believe in inciting rebellion against them, having never consulted with the people of knowledge, understanding and wisdom. Instead they stubbornly and recklessly instigate tribulations and bloodshed in places like Egypt, Syria, Algeria, and even before at the sacred mosque in Mecca. By all this they contradict authentic hadith that the actions of Muslims have always been based upon past and present, except by khawarij."(end quote) Al Albani rahimaullah also said in Tahdheer Min Fitnatit-Takfeer(warning against the Fitna of Takfeer) "If we study the reality of the modern islamic groups which has existed for nearly a generation and their ideas and the practice of such idea, we find that many of them have brought about no benefit to themselves nor they have benefited others with anything that can be remembered. This is so despite their outery and noise that they want an islamic government. This was their reason for spilling the blood of the innocent based on such a baseless argument- all this without having actualized anything from it(their false call) And so we continue to hear of their beliefs which are opposed to the Book and Sunnah and actions which are negated by the Book and Sunnah. They try again and again with futile attempts that oppose Islamic Legislation " He rahimaullah ended with "...Yet with regret, these fine words have not been acted upon by these people; they persist with outcries to establish islamic state yet with no purpose or benefit. It is said about them, and I swear by Allah it is true of them, what a poet once said ; You Hope For Success But do not Follow its Path , Indeed a Ship Does Not Sail on Dry Land."
