Yes I Can (YIC) is a social inclusion, autism awareness, - TopicsExpress

Yes I Can (YIC) is a social inclusion, autism awareness, anti-bullying program made up of a combination of special education and general education students. Most of the special ed students in the program have a form of autism known as Aspergers Syndrome. These students are often gifted academically but lack the ability to socialize and communicate with others. Through YIC, these students are able to learn social skills and to build relationships with their general education peer mentors. Together, these students, of all ability levels, produce the Summer Meltdown Autism Awareness Art and Music Festival. Collaborating with Tee-Spring has provided YIC the opportunity to work together and demonstrate the techniques taught throughout the program, while simultaneously raising funds for Summer Meltdown 2015. 100% of the proceeds raised through Tee-Spring directly benefit the production of the 12th annual Summer Meltdown Festival on April 25th at the Santa Clarita Skatepark and field. https://youtube/watch?v=gVaeZaC6gMA (recap video on Summer Meltdown 2014) Please help support this cause!!
