Yes, I do know that everyone is entitled to ride the type of motorcycle they wish to. Yes, I do understand that we all have a right to ride how we want. Yes, I do understand that everyone should live their life as they feel is best for them. BUT, NO, I do NOT understand why most of those riding what are commonly known as crotch rockets feel they have the right to put not only THEIR lives in jeopardy by riding like idiots, but those around them as well. I have had them pass me in my lane at high rates of speed; pass me on either side in my lane at high rates of speed; pass myself and other bikes on double yellow lines (usually up a hill) at high rates of speed; and even had one idiot CAROM OFF OF ME as he missed his turn at 120mph+ taking off my highway peg in the process!!! And this past weekend I had my wife on the bike with me and on our short pleasure ride through the countryside, we had 4 of these idiots (on separate occasions) pass us illegally doing 100mph+ on double yellow lines UP HILLS!! THESE ARE NOT CLOSED COURSES PEOPLE!!!!!!!! I SO wish there was something we could do!!!
