Yes, I see the traps everywhere. Those who claim to be spiritual - TopicsExpress

Yes, I see the traps everywhere. Those who claim to be spiritual seekers yet also equate success through materialism as expressed by economic wealth. The consequences are clear to me. Attachment to economic desires only cultivates the ego. For me, it is not enough to be financially successful through supposed spiritual teachings or means. As a catalyst of growth and change in the world, success for me is reflected through helping people see the synthetic social construct for what it is. There is no great success to be found within the economic constraints of a broken paradigm. Spritual success is the empowerment of individuals to desconstruct the economic system entirely and rebuild a unified world in which the illusion of scarcity is no longer a motivation, nor is the egocentric desires consequentially dictated through consumerism. Only then will true freedom be attained, and with it the cultivation of the spiritual knowledge of ourselves. This will be a social evolution of the highest order, and I personally will not settle for anything less than the free divine expression of who we are.
