Yes! The Strong Covenant will be made with many (Daniyl 9:27), which will begin the last seven years of mans history, a covenant of peace, but a time of war! During the first half of this seven year period, there will be wars, famines, and disease epidemics Mat:7,8), which will decimate one fourth of this worlds population (Revelation6:7,8). In the midst of this week, the lord of heaven will be worshiped in the rebuilt Temple! A man of sin (the breaking of Yahwehs Laws) will be serving there; The Son of Perdition (Destruction). In II Thessalonians 2:1-12, we read of those events-- 1 Now we plead with you, brothers, concerning the coming of our King Yahshua Messiah, and our gathering together to him, 2 That you not be soon shaken in mind, nor be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as if from us, as that the day of Yahweh is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day will not come, unless there come a falling away first, and that man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Gods, or that is worshiped; so that he, as the Almighty, sits in the temple of Yahweh, showing himself that he is the Mighty One. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I told you these things? 6 And now you know what restraining him now, so that he may be revealed in his time. 7 For the mystery of iniquity (depths of sin and lawlessness) is already working--but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. 8 And then that Wicked One be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and powerless with the appearance of His coming-- 9 Whose coming (Yahshuas coming) is according to the energy of Satan, who works with all power, and signs, and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceiveableness of sin in those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the Truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason, Yahweh will send them strong delusion, that they would believe the deception, 12 In order that all those may be judged as not having believed the Truth, but as having delighted in sin. Just reading II Thessalonians 2:7,8 from the King James Version, one will not find the information that Satan, and Satan worship, will be revealed in the midst of this seven year period. However, The Emphatic Diaglott proves that the Book of Yahweh, the Holy Scriptures, has been correctly translated-- Book of Yahweh, the Holy Scriptures, 7 For the mystery of iniquity (depths of sin and lawlessness) is already working--but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. 8 And then that Wicked One be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and powerless with the appearance of His coming-- The Emphatic Diaglott, the for secret thing already works of the lawlessness, only the one restraining now out of midst it may be; and then will be revealed the lawless one; And yes, from the Beginning through the Midst of this seven year period, there will be war and drought, famines, disease epidemics, and earthquakes in place after place. But not only this, as II Thessalonians 2:12 has told us, those who worship this lord of heaven, who worship god (Satan) in the rebuilt temple, will be those who are judged as having delighted in sin. These people will be confronted with their sins! they will be told that worshiping gods and breaking Yahwehs Laws are sin. The word translated delighted in II Thessalonians 2:12, carries the meaning of: doing what seems right. They will do that which is right in their own eyes (Deuteronomy 12:8), but NOT that which is RIGHT in the eyes of Yahweh (Isayah 45:5,6, Yahchanan 3:4). To be continued tomorrow....
