Yes, it could have been blown in the wind but was in too much of a perfect spot right next to the rental vehicle with mylar covering the seats and a no-smoking vehicle decal fixed to its side windows I had parked over night at the 100% non-smoking hotel I stayed at. POSITIVE: Ive been educated on what is sprayed into those vents and the mystery of not knowing where the heck the stench is coming from, has been solved! Never mind only the carpet shampoos and dashboard cleaners and hanging air fresheners ... DAMMIT, NO VENT OILS, PLEASE!!!!! NEGATIVE: Someone noticed my vehicle MUST be driven by a person with chemical sensitivities and thinks of us as a nuisance! A message they might have surely tried to convey was to just cover up the smoke smells with vent oils so smokers can smoke up these vehicles and wed never know were breathing in carcinogens from the nicotine oils that settle everywhere, now covered up in more carcinogens from these artificial scents designed to deaden our sense of smell so we dont COMPLAIN!!!!!!!!!! So is it better to take away our birthright to having a natural defense mechanism so we allow carcinogens to overtake us and then pay the cancer treatment centers all our hard-earned money we can be enjoying instead in our retirement years, later???? THAT wouldnt be too SMART!!!
