Yes, my profession is amazingly fun because I get to be creative, innovative, and a problem solver all while spending someone elses money for them. And its deeply satisfying because I change the way people feel in their space, about their space and about themselves. Thats what most people naturally assume. My profession is also very tedious because the magic is in the details. Precision is key. Every pattern should match up, every seam align, every thing in harmony. Theres the balance of negative space and positive space, there is contrast and proper scale to achieve. There is a unity and a rhythm that must be attained. All by simply (yet, not so simply for most) using the building blocks of line, form, shape and color. Just a couple of missed marks can take a Sacred Space down to just a pretty room.
