I have been pondering the last couple days exactly how to put into words my feelings and thoughts and emotions from this weekend, and I am not sure I am doing them justice. This weekend was absolutely amazing. I think the most incredible thing is that time and distance didnt seem to matter, it seems like the friendships and bonds and relationships surpassed all that. I am awestruck. How does that happen?! And seriously, how did none of you age? I know at times people say that to be nice, but its like we could have all been hanging out after work, none of you aged a bit. I think it says something about the type of resilient personalities we must have. Whatever it is, I am grateful to be a part of something so wonderful. My heart is full and Im just so happy. To be able to connect with so many of you and just pick up where we left off is priceless to me. Mad props to Dana Rigney for planning this spectacular weekend. I know it wasnt easy, but I so appreciate all the hard work he put in.(and it was a lot.) Dana is such an incredible spirit and person, and I am just so grateful for him - he brought us all together. And for Terry Hameline for supporting him in all that. Also thank you to Maria Kirkland, Kevin R Burgess and Brian Huff for their incredible assistance and artistic contributions. If I missed anyone, I am sorry. :) I am back in the real world today, with a scratchy hoarse voice, bags under my eyes, and a ridiculous smile that might never leave my face. Thank you all for putting it there. Even though I am not far, my heart is with all of you. :)
