Yes, the 9 million Ice bucket challenges posts can be annoying. I imagine ALS is also quite annoying. I hope that this trending challenge does raise awareness and money. I dont really trust that all monies donated will be used as they should, sadly that is the nature of a LOT of charitable organizations. However, teaching people about the realities of this disease may, just MAY, make a difference. I hope it makes a difference for this young man , and all the others that are suffering from this disease. Donate to an ALS org if you like, do a ice bucket challenge if you like.....but if you ever encounter someone who has this disease, or is care-taking someone who has it, do them a favor and give them your empathy and support.
