Yesterday August 12, the first gentleman of our land, his Excellency prez, John Dramani Mahama launched the youth enterprise support (YES) innitiative. According to the prez, the innitiative is to help young people with business ideas to start up their own business and grow them into big organizations. Qualified people will be those with businesses that can employ up to 5 people. The preaident also maintained that business clinics will be organized in all 10 regional capitals to educate people on business idea or proposals development in order to access the 10 million fund. The innitiative is to also offer coaching and mentorship for people who have the aim to go into business. The head of YES, Mr Adu Asare, said the innitiative is non-partisan and it is suppose to serve the youth of the entire country. MY EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS OF CROWN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE I expect students this noble institution to take up the challenge and try to benefit from the fund. Lets come out with the best of business plans since its going to be a competition. And with our consulting background, we should be able to do better, may be in groups. MY EXPECTATIONS OF CROWN UNIVERSITY COLLEGE. I expect the leadership of the institution to try some of the contracts in the YES innitiative to win atleast two of the 10 business clinics to be organised nation wide. This to me will not only offer students with great opportunities, but will help spread our message to the general public. For now, im thinking of a business plan in my mind.
