Yesterday Bodo militants killed many people in Assam. It was very disheartening to go through the news. The news is covered by all the news channels and media, but the criticality is lost in other stories of the day. Doesnt it sound strange that we value life of kids much more than life of grown-ups, even when every life is equally precious. Doesnt if sound illogical that just because kids are cute, massacre of kids is more tragic than other massacres? Doesnt it sound opportunistic that by over-emphasizing innocence of kids we consciously or sub-consciously try to prove how humane are we?
