Yesterday I awoke wondering where Id put my Cameo ring. It had been given to me by my mom in the mid 70s. I dont wear rings or bracelets to work as they get caught on things or fall off too easily, so I hadnt thought of it for some time. But then I had an urgent NEED to find and wear it. It was right where it should be and I felt a slight sense of relief at seeing it. I have no memory of what I was dreaming, but it is strange how dreams can play with our emotions. I sat on the bed, put the ring on my finger and immediately turned to my left and said, Mom? I guess she needed to be close. We were not very close while she was alive and she died in 1988. I know the veil is very thin just now, but it puzzles me that I should feel her near after all these years. I DID wear the ring to work yesterday and I am still wearing it... ???
