Yesterday I had a problem with a smudge appearing in my photo`s discussed it here. Today I found out that the cleaning mode on the camera only lifts the mirror so you can blow clean the sensor, which I did. I then took off my filters and gave both ends a good clean+blow making sure the filters were also clean. And the problem has gone! Whopee, now the scary part!!! I used a small hair dryer on cold air to blow the dust off, dodgy yes, but it worked for me ;-)
