Yesterday I had gone with my family to watch PK and here is my review. PK- an overrated family entertainer. In the race to be a good film, there are many hero in a movie ,like, the Director, the Actor, the story, The Screen Play, the Music etc. Other than the Screen Play all the others fall hallway through the race. This is not a directors movie or Amir Khans, this is just an average movie with big stars in it. The previous Rajkumar Hirani movies had strong story line, but this one had in the beginning but they somehow lost the rest of the script. Compared to this Akshay Kumar’s OMG was much better off with the message. Here even the message was unclear, it was left to the viewers to decide how the movie ended. Was it a love story? No, was it a movie with a social cause? NO, was it a comedy movie? Yes Anushka Sharma barely fits the role ( or knows how to act ) and so does Amir Khan, I think Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi would have made a better choice. In this movie, even though the thought of “Who is God?” is being raised, I don’t think it provoked the grey cell to start thinking on it. You don’t come out of the theater with a bug gnawing your brain, you are happy that you had a good laugh. This movie is thus a comedy entertainer for the kids. My kids liked it and am sure the rest will also. But seriously enough what the movie had bought to our notice it that we have hundreds of people in this country with an IQ as high as the Cabbage ( I know I should not insult the Cabbage, but will ask its forgiveness latter ), and all those people who are debating and rioting should be sent to Primary School for Mental Development.
