Yesterday I was pleased to host two Ageing forums, one in Ipswich and one in the Somerset Region. We were privileged to have Everald Compton, Chair of the Panel for Positive Ageing, as guest speaker. Everald asked us to think about our community and how we would like it to look in 2050. Every decision we make in politics and as members of the community should be made with that thought at the forefront of our minds. Labor is working with the Panel of Positive Ageing to address the challenges and opportunities of an ageing population. I encourage you to think about our city, our community and envisage how you would like it to look in 2050. I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
