Yesterday I went to Shell to fuel up my car and queue at the counter. A lady tells the counter person that she wants to pay using CitiBank credit card. Counter person told her that CitiBank transaction machine is down and would need to pay using other means eg NETs or other banks credit card. She said I dont bring any cash or other cards with me, just this one, and I insist that I would only want to pay using CitiBank Credit Card As the queue started to grow, the counter had no choice but to take down her particular details and advise her to come back to pay them back. Couple of people from the queue was commenting that this lady needs to be slapped for making life harder for service-line personnel. Sigh, really feel ashamed with these type of people around really as a Singaporean.
