Yesterday, Mitch McConnell blocked a constitutional amendment - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, Mitch McConnell blocked a constitutional amendment that would allow Congress to prevent millionaires and billionaires from buying our elections. Mitch’s move shouldn’t surprise anyone. He did exactly what he promised the Koch brothers he’d do: he voted with corporations and against the interests of working families. Four days back in session and Mitch is already showing his true colors. After 30 years of failed leadership, enough is enough. Contribute $5 or more today to send a message to Mitch: Kentucky deserves a Senator who stands for hardworking families – not for corporations and Super PACs. It looks like Mitch is getting a head start on paying back his billionaire donors who have already pumped tens of millions of dollars into his campaign. The era of big money buying our elections has to end or we’ll never have a Washington that puts working families first. That’s why we need to stand with Alison while we still have the chance. We’re coming down to the final weeks – every day and every dollar count. Donate $5 or more today and help elect a Senator who stands with hardworking families, not one who runs from responsibility straight into the back pockets of billionaires and special interests.
