Yesterday, after a long absence from a regular monthly reunion - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, after a long absence from a regular monthly reunion event of my Ateneo de Manila class (HS 62, College 66), I was able to re-connect with former classmates. We are older, maybe with more medical problems than we would like, maybe more wrinkled and stooped in appearance, but we are also wiser (hopefully), more experienced (certainly), and (I really believe this) happier that we have so far lived our lives so productively, not just for ourselves and our families, but for others. My class has had some very successful and prosperous businessmen, a senator, some congressmen, many national government officials, many local government officials, some educators, a well-known actor, some excellent writer-journalists/media practitioners and so many others who contributed to the countrys development. Not bad for a class that was, I personally believe, unjustifiably described in a pre-graduation assembly by then Ateneo College Dean Fr. James Donelan SJ as the class that failed to live up to its full potential. Sorry Fr. Jim, we proved you wrong....! Hi to my long-time friends and former class/batch mates who (aside from me) showed up at the first reunion of 2015 (I hope I wont miss mentioning anybody) - Leon Herrera, Raul Serion, Jun Montenegro, Charlie Velayo, Jess Tabora, Edgie Eugenio, Nonnie Zialcita, Rudy Abad, Jun Onate, Allan Tolentino, Hermie Santos, Bobby Tanchoco, Lito Lerma, Mon Infante, Louie Fernandez, Padjo Delfino, Ariel Abadilla, Bernie Lopez, Freddie de Leon, Lope Severino, Vic Cipriano, Eddie Jose, Francis Jalandoni, Manny Tirona, Leo Martinez, and of course our gracious host Jun Lopez. Cheers to all of you!! ONE BIG FIGHT! (nb. more photos will be posted separately)
