Yesterday afternoon on my way to the gym I was driving west on 8th street and turning left onto Campbell Ave ( corner of Winners and Beilys) ....it looked clear to go and as I was turning left a white car was driving east and going way too fast. Before I knew it my vehicle had spun a complete 360 and ended up a foot from the glass deck of Beilys. For a moment it seemed unreal. There were many people around and I can just remember the smell of the airbags....the lens of my sunglasses were knocked out by the airbags and my shoes flew off....one of the first people on site was my ex daughter in law Christina Silveira who happened to be driving beside me....what are the chances?? She was very helpful and I am thankful for that. All I thought about was my kids and my daughter in law. Léa Miquelis-McKay...she was there as quick as she could and I am thankful to her for that, She made me feel calm . I was emotionally relieved when I saw my sons Darren Mckay and Andrew Mckay at the hospital. I dont know who was more relieved to see who ...them or me?? Love you.
