Yesterday afternoon while driving back to her office, our Vice - TopicsExpress

Yesterday afternoon while driving back to her office, our Vice President; Cherokee Ballard, noticed something on the inside lane near the median on I-235 and 23rd street in Oklahoma City. At first Cherokee thought it was a paper sack but was shocked to realize it was actually a scared, injured little dog. Without hesitation, Cherokee pulled over and approached the dog. Broadway (the name we have given her) was huddled down in a snow drift just feet from one of the heaviest traveled sections of interstate in our city. As Cherokee approached she realized Broadway was injured so quickly wrapped her in a blanket and took her to Animal Medical Center of Midwest City. Dr. Brown and his staff examined Broadway and found she was cold, malnourished, covered in fleas, and had an injury on her back leg but otherwise all right. AMC treated her for pain and released her to us where she is now safe in a temporary foster home. If you have any information regarding Broadway please contact us at [email protected] or 866-318-PETS.
