Yesterday at the Town of Eastons Fourth of July celebration we met a man and his family. He was from Afghanistan. He now lives in Easton and was so happy to be celebrating Independence day. He became a citizen. He voted in the recent Primary Election. He still speaks with very broken English, but he wanted us to know that he was a proud Republican and Ronald Reagan was his favorite president. What a terrific way to celebrate the Fourth!
