Yesterday, he was hypocritically marching along with other world leaders, defending values like liberty and freedom. Today, Mr. Rajoy is arresting the lawyers (!) of the Basque individuals who are on trial for their political activities, thus depriving them from their most essential rights! Ironically, the arrests came less than 48 hours after the huge Bilbao demonstration on Saturday, when more than 80.000 people demanded an end to the dispersal policy and respect for the prisoners human rights. Mariano Rajoy and Spain show again their ugly undemocratic face. They should know, though, that freedom for the Basque Country is non-negotiable.
