Yesterday, here in SC was a dreary day. Cloudy and windy, clouds rolling by so fast you could hardly keep your eyes on them. Tornado watch and in one place farther up in the county, a tornado warning. I went to bed, to sleep, last night with the wind and rain still blowing outside. But I woke up to a whole different world. The sun was shining, the sky a brilliant blue- and after months of no significant rain which resulted in brown grass, GREEN GREEN grass- lush. The air was fresh and clean. As I was running, God reminded me that there will times in our life- like yesterday. Stormy, windy, rainy, dark, blowing. And we have two choices in those times, we can fret or we can rest. We can to worry and fret or- We can choose to rest, in quietness and trust. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God “Cease striving and know that I am God Isaiah 30:15 “In repentance (changing your mind) and rest you will be saved, In quietness and trust is your strength.” Still- sink, relax (7503 raphah- Hebrew) Know- recognize and understand by experience youtube/watch?v=3FrEmqyM4-k
