Yesterday i got the plain to attend this event in Sardinia, The flight from London to Cagliari is just 2h and 45 min. The day before TFL (transport for london), said they were going to strike, in the evening of the same day they said that they werent going to strike anymore. I planned my journey early anyway, you never know, and surely I dont, I am the kind of person that knows things last (oh so they found America?!). I was three hours early at the airport. The plain departed fine, in time. Once over Cagliari the pilot communicate with us saying that Cagliaris airport is close because DANGEROUS IMMIGRANTS escaped a center next to the airport. so for 45 min more or less we stayed on the sky waiting for the police to catch the DANGEROUS IMMIGRANTS and for the airport to open again. As we italian do (and english do too but saying sorry in the end of the sentence), people start to comment. -how Long? this is terrible. -OMG this people, what they want? Why cant they collaborate? -I am no racist but, if they have to create troubles they can stay at their homes. And so I was starting to getting nervous, I was concerned about those poor people escaped from the center and worried what was going to be of them once captured. were they going to face jail? were they going to be sent in their homeland maybe in the middle of a horrible war? sad... At the end we get diverted to Alghero, 4 h by car away from the place i needed to be. They gave us buses, we finally arrived at Cagliari where my mother and sister where waiting for me... SO JUST COME AND DONT COMPLAIN. other particulars of this amazing true life story if i remember them in the comments
