Yesterday in 2005 Grand Belials Key released the album Kosherat Oakton, Virginia Black Metal Status:Active Years active: 1992-1993, 1994-2006, 2009-present Grand Belials Key was formed in 1992 by guitarist Gelal Necrosodomy and vocalist Lord Vlad Luciferian. Lord Vlad was kicked out of the band shortly after the demos and joined the Norwegian band Ancient. A full lineup was completed and they released Mocking the Philanthropist. It was banned, but later re-released as Castrate the Redeemer. The last full length they have released was Kosherat which saw new singer and new drummer. The last official recording is a split with the bands Absurd and Sigrblot titled: Weltenfeind it includes songs recorded during the Kosherat session. Same studio. Same members. Same session. Most likely the last piece of music from GBK. GBK are one of Americas first black metal bands. According to an interview, the intro to Vultures of Misfortune was from klezmer music acquired from the bands local synagogue.
